In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Charlevoix Rayders volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Posen Vikings.

The Rayders (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Inland Lakes (Indian River, MI). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Inland Lakes beat Hillman (Hillman, MI), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the Mio-Au Sable Thunderbolts (Mio, MI) in a North Star challenge, on Thursday, September 5. Posen will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
