The Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) volleyball held off the host Chattooga Indians (Summerville, GA), 2-1 in Thursday's league bout.

The Blue Devils now possess a 16-6 record. They play next when they travel to Woodland for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 29. Model will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Cartersville (Cartersville, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-11.

With the loss, Chattooga drops to 9-7 on the campaign. The Indians host Woodland (Cartersville, GA) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 29.
