The Seguin Matadors volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Del Valle Cardinals to 0 in the Matadors non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Matadors now possess a 8-14 record. They play next when they travel to Stevens for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 29. Seguin will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 league win over Holmes (San Antonio, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 10-7.

With the loss, Del Valle drops to 11-6 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Crockett (Austin, TX) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league outing on Friday, August 30.
