The Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies prevailed the visiting Licking Valley Panthers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's non-league game.

Next up, the Johnnies confront the Fredericktown Freddies (Fredericktown, OH) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 31. Johnstown-Monroe will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Freddies enter the game with a 5-1 record after their 3-1 league win over East Knox (Howard, OH).

Next, the Panthers meet the Zanesville Blue Devils (Zanesville, OH) in a Licking County challenge, on Tuesday, September 3. Licking Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Newark Catholic (Newark, OH).
