In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Terra Linda Trojans volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Maria Carrillo Pumas.

The Trojans (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park, CA). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 4-5 record.

Next, the Pumas play the Piner Prospectors (Santa Rosa, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 3. Maria Carrillo will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record.
