The Westwood Rebels football squad scored 20 points and limited the host Alta-Aurelia Warriors to 13 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Friday.

The Rebels now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Woodbury Central for a A District 8 challenge on Friday, September 5. Westwood will face a Wildcats team coming off a 33-20 non-league win over Lawton-Bronson (Lawton, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.

The Warriors (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against East Sac County (Lake View, IA). The Raiders go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, East Sac County was edged by IKM/Manning (Manning, IA), 40-15, in a non-league challenge.
