Ohio High School Football - Anderson smashes West Clermont

The Anderson Raptors (Cincinnati, OH) football triumphed over the visiting West Clermont Wolves (Cincinnati, OH), 49-7 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Raptors battle the Little Miami Panthers (Morrow, OH) in a Eastern Cincinnati game, on Friday, September 5. Anderson will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 0-2 record after their 26-22 league loss to Turpin (Cincinnati, OH).
The Wolves (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Lebanon (Lebanon, OH). The Warriors enter the Eastern Cincinnati game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Lebanon overwhelmed Loveland (Loveland, OH), 28-25, in a league game.
First Quarter
Owen Scalf connected with Tegan Jallick with 02:58 left in the quarter to give Anderson an 8-0 advantage after the first frame.
Second Quarter
Less than a minute into the second, Mark Madden returned a punt 79 yards for an Anderson touchdown. Tysin Weaver then caught a 13-yard pass from Cooper Kathman for another score to extend the Anderson lead to 22-0. With 04:04 left in the half, Jordan Davis took the ball into the end zone from one yard out. The Raptors entered the locker room leading West Clermont 28-0.
Third Quarter
In the third quarter, Scalf found Tegan Jallick for a five-yard touchdown. With 01:36 left, Jordan Davis caught another TD pass from Scalf for 29 yards to give Anderson a 43-0 lead entering the fourth quarter,
Fourth Quarter
With less than three minutes to go in the game, Caleb Ashire ran for a two-yard touchdown to put West Clermont on the board. However, Luke Pastura answered the score with one of his own on a 33-yard run. The game ended with the Raptors winning 49-7.
