The Northwest Wolves edged the host Ankeny Hawks football squad by a margin of 25-24 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Wolves now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Valley for a non-league outing on Friday, September 5. Northwest will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 20-19 non-league win over Dowling Catholic (West Des Moines, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.
