The Osakis Silverstreaks walloped the host Apollo Eagles football team by a score of 46-14 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Silverstreaks play the Minnewaska Area Lakers (Glenwood, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Osakis will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Lakers go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 48-14 non-league win over Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta (Morris, MN).
The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Albany (Albany, MN). The Huskies go into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Albany bounced Litchfield (Litchfield, MN), 21-19, in a non-league test.
