In Friday's non-league match, the host Beckman Trailblazers football squad scored a decisive 49-6 triumph over the Columbus Sailors.
The Trailblazers (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Monticello (Monticello, IA). The Panthers go into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Monticello was ripped by Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IA), 56-12, in a non-league battle.
