The Mars Fightin' Planets edged the host Bethel Park Black Hawks football team by a score of 17-13 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Fightin' Planets face the North Hills Indians (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Mars will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 38-10 non-league loss to Seneca Valley (Harmony, PA).
The Black Hawks (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Armstrong (Kittanning, PA). The River Hawks come into the non-league outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Armstrong edged Hampton (Allison Park, PA), 35-28, in a non-league outing.
