The West Lowndes Panthers football team (Columbus, MS), was toppled 34-8 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Biggersville Lions (Corinth, MS)

The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Tishomingo County (Iuka, MS). The Braves enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Tishomingo County gained a win over Alcorn Central (Glen, MS), 42-0, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Panthers battle the Leake County Gators (Walnut Grove, MS) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 5. West Lowndes will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Gators enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 42-26 non-league loss to Leake Central (Carthage, MS).
