South Carolina High School Football - Blacksburg crushed by East Rutherford

August 29, 2025: Blacksburg, SC 29702

The East Rutherford Cavaliers overwhelmed the host Blacksburg Wildcats football squad by a count of 41-6 in Friday's non-league test.

The Cavaliers now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host College Prep & Leadership Academy for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. East Rutherford will meet a Royals squad coming off a 48-14 non-league loss to Albemarle (Albemarle, NC). The Royals record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Blacksburg drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Chase (Forest City, NC) to meet the Trojans in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 0-1. Chase lost 34-32 in their recent non-league test against Polk County (Columbus, NC)
