South Carolina High School Football - Blythewood can't hold off Midland Valley

Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Blythewood Bengals (Blythewood, SC), 38-36 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Midland Valley advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Lexington (Lexington, SC) to play the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Lexington lost 31-3 in their recent non-league battle against North Augusta (North Augusta, SC)

The Bengals now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Fort Mill for a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. Blythewood will play a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 35-14 non-league win over Chester (Chester, SC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 2-0.
