The Braden River Pirates football team (Bradenton, FL), dropped 27-7 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Sarasota Sailors (Sarasota, FL)

With the win, Sarasota advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Sailors travel to North Port (North Port, FL) to encounter the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Friday, September 5. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 0-2. North Port lost 48-0 in their recent non-league contest against Charlotte (Punta Gorda, FL)

Coming up next, the Pirates confront the Lakewood Ranch Mustangs (Bradenton, FL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 5. Braden River will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 2-0 record after their 42-0 non-league win over Seminole (Seminole, FL).
