Pennsylvania High School Football - Brentwood trounced by South Allegheny

The Brentwood Spartans football team (Pittsburgh, PA), was crushed 49-6 in Friday's non-league bout with the host South Allegheny Gladiators (McKeesport, PA)

With the win, South Allegheny advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Gladiators travel to Carlynton (Carnegie, PA) to confront the Cougars in a non-league contest on Friday, September 5. The Cougars enter the contest with a record of 1-1. Carlynton lost 7-6 in their recent non-league contest against Avella (Avella, PA)

Coming up next, the Spartans confront the Sto-Rox Vikings (McKees Rocks, PA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 5. Brentwood will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Vikings go into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 38-20 non-league loss to Carmichaels (Carmichaels, PA).
