The Britton-Hecla Braves football squad scored 36 points and limited the host Leola/Frederick Titans to 6 in the Braves non-league triumph on Friday.
The Braves now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Redfield for a Eastern South Dakota (9 Man) game on Friday, September 5. Britton-Hecla will face a Pheasants team coming off a 55-0 non-league loss to Kimball/White Lake (Kimball, SD). The Pheasants record now stands at 0-2.
The Titans (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Stanley County (Fort Pierre, SD). The Buffalos enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Stanley County ran past Parkston (Parkston, SD), 40-0, in a non-league game.
