North Carolina High School Football - St. Stephens over Bunker Hill

August 29, 2025: Hickory, NC 28601

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) and the visiting Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC), witnessed St. Stephens's football squad knock off Bunker Hill by a tally of 39-20.

The Indians (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Hibriten gained a win over South Caldwell (Hudson, NC), 62-6, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Bears battle the Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) in a Western Foothills 4A/5A contest, on Friday, September 5. Bunker Hill will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Red Tornadoes go into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 63-14 non-league win over Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC).
