Illinois High School Football - Carmel wallops Grayslake Central

The Carmel Corsairs football squad scored 52 points and limited the visiting Grayslake Central Rams to 13 in the Corsairs non-league triumph on Friday.

In their next game, the Corsairs face the Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Carmel will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Scouts enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 30-0 non-league win over Deerfield (Deerfield, IL).

The Rams (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bremen (Midlothian, IL). The Braves enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Bremen was ripped by Taft (Chicago, IL), 21-0, in a non-league challenge.
