In Friday's league game, the Prairie Ridge Wolves (Crystal Lake, IL) football team overcame the host Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL), by a tally of 34-21.

In their next game, the Wolves face the Jacobs Golden Eagles (Algonquin, IL) in a Fox Valley game, on Friday, September 5. Prairie Ridge will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the game with a 1-0 record after their 53-13 league win over Hampshire (Hampshire, IL).
