Mississippi High School Football - Cathedral prevails St. Andrew's Episcopal

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Cathedral Green Wave football squad scored a good 47-28 triumph over the St. Andrew's Episcopal Saints.

The Green Wave (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Parklane Academy (McComb, MS). The Pioneers go into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Parklane Academy prevailed over Jackson Prep (Jackson, MS), 18-7, in a non-league battle.

The Saints now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Ethel for a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. St. Andrew's Episcopal will play a Tigers team coming off a 38-6 non-league win over J.Z. George (North Carrollton, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.
