The Central Dragons felled the visiting Greater Johnstown Trojans football team by a score of 14-6 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Dragons play the Tyrone Golden Eagles (Tyrone, PA) in a Laurel Highlands challenge, on Friday, September 5. Central will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 49-6 league win over Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA).

The Trojans (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Somerset (Somerset, PA). The Eagles go into the Laurel Highlands challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Somerset went down by Huntingdon (Huntingdon, PA), 48-12, in a league test.
