Texas High School Football - Northbrook can't hold off Cesar E. Chavez

The Cesar E. Chavez Lobos got by the host Northbrook Raiders football team by a score of 12-7 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Lobos now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waltrip for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Cesar E. Chavez will meet a Rams squad coming off a 51-0 non-league loss to Episcopal (Bellaire, TX). The Rams record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Northbrook drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Raiders host Spring Woods (Houston, TX) to meet the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 5. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Spring Woods lost 38-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Sam Rayburn (Pasadena, TX)
