Illinois High School Football - Robinson wallops Charleston

The Robinson Maroons football squad scored 41 points and limited the visiting Charleston Trojans to 6 in the Maroons non-league triumph on Friday.

The Maroons now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Benton for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 5. Robinson will face a Rangers team coming off a 69-0 non-league win over Herrin (Herrin, IL). The Rangers record now stands at 1-0.

The Trojans (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Paris (Paris, IL). The Tigers go into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Paris bounced North Vermillion (Cayuga, IN), 57-0, in a non-league challenge.
