The Citrus Hurricanes football team (Inverness, FL), dropped 32-6 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Lake Weir Hurricanes (Ocala, FL)

With the win, Lake Weir advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to West Nassau (Callahan, FL) to encounter the Warriors in a Sunshine State - Atlantic Coast bout on Friday, September 5. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-0. West Nassau won 48-0 in their recent non-league bout against Ridgeview (Orange Park, FL)

The Hurricanes now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Wildwood for a non-league contest on Friday, September 5. Citrus will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 31-26 non-league loss to Leesburg (Leesburg, FL). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.
