Pennsylvania High School Football - Serra Catholic crushed by Clairton

August 29, 2025: Clairton, PA 15025

The Clairton Bears walloped the visiting Serra Catholic Eagles football team by a score of 79-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bears play the Shady Side Academy Bulldogs (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Clairton will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 56-26 non-league win over Burrell (Lower Burrell, PA).

With the defeat, Serra Catholic drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Leechburg (Leechburg, PA) to meet the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 1-1. Leechburg won 58-6 in their recent non-league test against Bethlehem Center (Fredericktown, PA)
