The Leroy Bears were victorious over the host Clarke County Bulldogs football squad by a margin of 41-12 in Friday's non-league test.
The Bears now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to McIntosh for a 1A Region 1 test on Friday, September 5. Leroy will clash with a Demons squad coming off a 47-0 non-league win over Bayshore Christian (Fairhope, AL). The Demons record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Clarke County drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Central (Hayneville, AL) to face the Lions in a 2A Region 1 game on Friday, September 5. The Lions come into the outing with a record of 0-1. Central lost 44-14 in their recent non-league outing against LaFayette (LaFayette, AL)
