The Clovis Wildcats football team (Clovis, NM), was crushed 56-0 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM)

With the win, Rio Rancho advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Rams travel to Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM) to confront the Bulldawgs in a non-league match on Thursday, September 4. The Bulldawgs enter the match with a record of 2-0. Las Cruces won 38-20 in their recent non-league match against Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM)

Coming up next, the Wildcats confront the Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 5. Clovis will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Storm enter the match with a 2-0 record after their 49-3 non-league win over Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM).
