Alabama High School Football - Vincent over Comer

August 29, 2025: Sylacauga, AL 35150

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Vincent Yellow Jackets (Vincent, AL) and the host Comer Tigers (Sylacauga, AL), witnessed Vincent's football squad knock off Comer by a tally of 37-18.

The Yellow Jackets (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lamar County (Vernon, AL). The Bulldogs enter the 2A Region 5 contest with a 1-1 record.

The Tigers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Glenwood for a 3A Region 4 battle on Friday, September 5. Comer will play a Gators team coming off a 49-6 non-league win over Elba (Elba, AL). The Gators record now stands at 1-1.
