The Upper Darby Royals football squad scored 29 points and limited the host Conestoga Pioneers to 9 in the Royals league triumph on Friday.
The Royals now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Strath Haven for a Central test on Friday, September 5. Upper Darby will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 35-0 league win over Penncrest (Media, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-0.
The Pioneers (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Radnor (Radnor, PA). The Raptors go into the Central challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Radnor toppled Harriton (Rosemont, PA), 35-0, in a league challenge.
