In Friday's non-league match, the visiting South Greene Rebels football squad scored a good 32-17 triumph over the Daniel Boone Trailblazers.
The Rebels (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Johnson County (Mountain City, TN). The Longhorns go into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Johnson County was dropped by Hampton (Hampton, TN), 36-20, in a non-league battle.
The Trailblazers now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Union for a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. Daniel Boone will play a Bears squad coming off a 49-14 league win over Lee (Jonesville, VA). The Bears record now stands at 1-0.
