The Davenport Broncos were victorious over the visiting Gainesville Hurricanes football team by a score of 42-21 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Broncos face the East Ridge Knights (Clermont, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Davenport will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 28-25 non-league win over Mount Dora (Mount Dora, FL).
