The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV) and the visiting Dayton Dust Devils (Dayton, NV), witnessed Lowry's football squad edge Dayton by a tally of 27-20.

The Buckaroos (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Elko (Elko, NV). The Indians enter the 3A Northern contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Elko got by Fernley (Fernley, NV), 26-15, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Dust Devils battle the South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) in a 3A Northern bout, on Friday, September 5. Dayton will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 43-0 league loss to Churchill County (Fallon, NV).
