Iowa High School Football - Valley gets by Dowling Catholic

The Valley Tigers got by the visiting Dowling Catholic Maroons football team by a score of 20-19 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers play the Northwest Wolves (Waukee, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Valley will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Wolves go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 25-24 non-league win over Ankeny (Ankeny, IA).

With the defeat, Dowling Catholic drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Maroons host Johnston (Johnston, IA) to meet the Dragons in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 1-0. Johnston won 13-3 in their recent non-league test against Waukee (Waukee, IA)
