The Freedom Patriots walloped the host Draughn Wildcats football team by a score of 68-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Patriots face the East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 5. Freedom will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Cavaliers come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 26-18 non-league loss to Foard (Newton, NC).

With the defeat, Draughn drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC) to meet the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 2-0. Wilkes Central won 47-14 in their recent non-league test against McMichael (Mayodan, NC)
