Dunbar Wildcats (Fort Worth, TX) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Wilmer-Hutchins Eagles (Dallas, TX), 39-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Dunbar advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Wyatt (Fort Worth, TX) to play the Chaparrals in a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. The Chaparrals go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Wyatt lost 35-22 in their recent non-league battle against Memorial (Wichita Falls, TX)

The Eagles now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Southwest for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 4. Wilmer-Hutchins will play a Raiders team coming off a 32-30 non-league loss to Adams (Dallas, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 0-1.
