Oklahoma High School Football - Tahlequah wallops East Central

August 29, 2025: Tahlequah, OK 74464

The Tahlequah Tigers football squad scored 55 points and limited the visiting East Central Cardinals to 6 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sapulpa for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Tahlequah will meet a Chieftains squad coming off a 14-7 non-league win over Bishop Kelley (Tulsa, OK). The Chieftains record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, East Central drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Nathan Hale (Tulsa, OK) to meet the Rangers in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. The Rangers come into the test with a record of 1-0. Nathan Hale won 54-14 in their recent non-league test against Webster (Tulsa, OK)
