Pennsylvania High School Football - Manheim Central thwarted by Ephrata

August 29, 2025: Manheim, PA 17545

Ephrata Mountaineers (Ephrata, PA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Manheim Central Barons (Manheim, PA), 17-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Ephrata advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Mountaineers host Garden Spot (New Holland, PA) to play the Spartans in a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. The Spartans go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Garden Spot won 38-0 in their recent non-league battle against Lebanon (Lebanon, PA)

The Barons now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Dallastown for a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. Manheim Central will play a Wildcats team coming off a 25-7 non-league win over Penn Manor (Millersville, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.
