The Evanston Wildkits walloped the visiting Niles North Vikings football team by a score of 49-6 in Friday's non-league test.

The Wildkits now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Laurence for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Evanston will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 19-0 non-league win over King (Chicago, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Niles North drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Vikings host Leyden (Franklin Park, IL) to meet the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-1. Leyden lost 21-16 in their recent non-league test against Highland Park (Highland Park, IL)
