The Evergreen Valley Cougars football team (San Jose, CA), was crushed 41-6 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Silver Creek Raiders (San Jose, CA)

With the win, Silver Creek advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Raiders travel to Homestead (Cupertino, CA) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league contest on Friday, September 5. The Mustangs enter the contest with a record of 1-0. Homestead won 41-12 in their recent non-league contest against Yerba Buena (San Jose, CA)

Coming up next, the Cougars confront the Cupertino Pioneers (Cupertino, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 5. Evergreen Valley will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Pioneers enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 20-18 non-league loss to Independence (San Jose, CA).
