The Ipswich Tigers football squad scored 34 points and restricted the visiting Faulkton Trojans to 30 in the Tigers league win on Friday.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Warner Monarchs (Warner, SD) in a Lake Region (9 Man) challenge, on Friday, September 5. Ipswich will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Monarchs go into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 41-0 non-league win over Gettysburg (Gettysburg, SD).
The Trojans (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Herreid/Selby (Herreid, SD). The Wolverines go into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Herreid/Selby nipped Northwestern Area (Mellette, SD), 42-0, in a non-league challenge.
