Ohio High School Football - Firelands falls to Vermilion

August 29, 2025: Oberlin, OH 44074

The Vermilion Sailors felled the host Firelands Falcons football team by a score of 42-12 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Sailors play the Willard Crimson Flashes (Willard, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 6. Vermilion will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Crimson Flashes go into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 50-28 non-league win over Plymouth (Plymouth, OH).

The Falcons (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Bay (Bay Village, OH). The Rockets come into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Bay went down by Ashland (Ashland, OH), 43-10, in a non-league test.
