The Fort Meade Miners felled the visiting George Jenkins Eagles football team by a score of 29-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Miners play the Lakeland Christian Vikings (Lakeland, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Fort Meade will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Vikings go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 49-6 non-league win over Zephyrhills Christian Academy (Zephyrhills, FL).

The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mulberry (Mulberry, FL). The Panthers go into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Mulberry was dropped by Kathleen (Lakeland, FL), 44-6, in a non-league challenge.
