Nebraska High School Football - Shelby-Rising City wallops Freeman

The Shelby-Rising City Huskies football squad scored 54 points and limited the host Freeman Falcons to 8 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Friday.

The Huskies now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Sandy Creek for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Shelby-Rising City will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 56-26 non-league win over Johnson-Brock (Johnson, NE). The Cougars record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Freeman drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Tri County (DeWitt, NE) to meet the Trojans in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 0-1. Tri County lost 52-12 in their recent non-league challenge against Johnson County Central (Tecumseh, NE)
