Texas High School Football - Jarrell defeats Giddings

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Jarrell Cougars (Jarrell, TX) and the host Giddings Buffaloes (Giddings, TX), witnessed Jarrell's football squad topple Giddings by a tally of 36-10.

The Cougars (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Marble Falls (Marble Falls, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Marble Falls thwarted Crockett (Austin, TX), 48-0, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Buffaloes confront the Smithville Tigers (Smithville, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 5. Giddings will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 53-36 non-league loss to Rockdale (Rockdale, TX).
