Illinois High School Football - Grant Community beat Mundelein

August 29, 2025: Fox Lake, IL 60020

The Grant Community Bulldogs football squad scored 42 points and limited the visiting Mundelein Mustangs to 13 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glenbrook North for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Grant Community will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 21-13 non-league win over Lakes (Lake Villa, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Mundelein drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Niles West (Skokie, IL) to face the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 5. The Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Niles West lost 35-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL)
