The Hamilton County Trojans overwhelmed the host Scintilla Charter Academy Spartans football squad by a margin of 43-0 in Friday's non-league test.
The Trojans now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lafayette for a Rural test on Friday, September 5. Hamilton County will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 37-30 non-league win over Suwannee (Live Oak, FL). The Hornets record now stands at 2-0.
With the defeat, Scintilla Charter Academy drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Brookwood (Thomasville, GA) to face the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 5. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. Brookwood lost 45-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Maclay (Tallahassee, FL)
