HEM Miners (Hanna, WY) followers went home pleased Friday as they observed their football squad smash the host Midwest Oilers (Midwest, WY), 60-12 in a non-league match.

The Miners (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Hulett (Hulett, WY). The Devils go into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.

The Oilers now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Guernsey-Sunrise for a non-league battle on Friday, September 26.
