The High Point Christian Academy Cougars walloped the host Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors football team by a score of 35-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars face the North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. High Point Christian Academy will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 49-20 non-league loss to Ambassador Christian School (Huntersville, NC).

With the defeat, Metrolina Christian Academy drops to 0-2 on the year. The Warriors host Covenant Day (Matthews, NC) to face the Lions in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 5. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Covenant Day lost 62-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Cannon [Cannon/Concord Academy] (Concord, NC)
