The Ludlow Panthers felled the host Holmes Bulldogs football team by a score of 42-18 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Walton-Verona Bearcats (Walton, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Ludlow will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Bearcats go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 15-7 non-league loss to Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY).
The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Green County (Greensburg, KY). The Dragons come into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Green County was defeated by Taylor County (Campbellsville, KY), 22-6, in a non-league test.
